learning that there are different ways to use a word, example you want to use inequality, you may need to use distribution, and equality.

I believe that I learned a lot about the library home page and how to research. I had no idea how to handle the website but now it is much clearer :-)

I didnt really relize that using google was not one of the best options for reserching a subject.

One very useful tool that i learned today that i never knew about was the Wilson program. I think that it will be very helpful to use any time that I write a paper.

One thing that i found useful was the Wilson Search. This showed me how to narrow down my search to find the information i really need.

Where to go for help is very good to know, as we will never remember it all with only one lesson. Thanks for the hand outs

Suzanne,

It was helpful for students to use the same search topic (i.e. school violence) using different databases. This will encourage them to try more than one database.
